I try to program as much transient art as possible, but on the other hand I try to mind the archive as much as I can. They are two sides of the same coin. The museum is not only an art collection anymore. The context of art is key for its institutional history. […] I think artists should be more generous in the way they handle their legacy. Some of them really want to hold on to it, and be constantly on top of how their work is viewed and performed. They should leave it to the audience and the critics to fully experience their work.
